Grow Pillar · Content Marketing

You are publishing content. Almost none of it is working.

I build content engines that compound: editorial strategy tied to what your buyer actually searches, long-form written in your voice, structured so it ranks on Google and gets cited inside AI answers. AI-augmented for speed, hand-edited everywhere, no 1,500-word filler that nobody finishes.

What goes into a content engine that compounds.

Not a pile of blog posts. Buyer-question research, an editorial calendar, long-form in your voice, structure for ranking and citation, and distribution that makes one piece do the work of five.

1

Buyer-question research

What your customers actually type and ask, grouped by intent. The strategy document every piece hangs off, not a guessed topic list.

2

Editorial calendar

A 3-6 month calendar mapped to pillar and cluster structure. Each piece has a job: rank for a query, answer an objection, or support a sales conversation.

3

Long-form in your voice

Pillar pages, comparison pages, answer pages, case studies. Written to sound like you after a founder interview, not like a content mill.

4

Structure for ranking and citation

Every piece built with the schema, internal links, factual claims, and clean structure that Google ranks and LLMs cite. Content and SEO are one job.

5

Distribution, built in

A repurposing flow: long-form turns into LinkedIn posts, email, and short video scripts. One pillar piece feeds a month of channel content.

6

Monthly performance read

What ranked, what got traffic, what got cited, what to write next. A Friday WhatsApp summary, not a 40-slide deck.

[ 02 / Process ]

How a content engine actually gets built.

01 · RESEARCH

Mine the questions

Pull the real queries, objections, and questions your buyers ask across search, sales calls, and support. That list is the content brief.

02 · MAP

Build the calendar

Pillar topics, cluster pieces, and the order to publish in. Each piece tied to a query and a stage of the buyer's journey.

03 · WRITE

Draft, interview, edit

AI-augmented drafts, a founder interview for the parts only you know, then hand-edited until it sounds like you and reads clean.

04 · DISTRIBUTE

Publish and repurpose

Live with schema and internal links, then repurposed across LinkedIn, email, and video. Tracked monthly so the next calendar is sharper.

Three ways to bring me in.

Content audit + strategy

~2 weeks

Your existing content audited for what ranks and what does not, buyer-question research, and a 3-6 month editorial calendar mapped to pillar and cluster structure. Yours to execute or hand back to me.

Content sprint

4-6 weeks

A pillar page plus its cluster, typically 6-10 pieces, researched, written in your voice, structured for ranking and citation, published with schema and internal links.

Retainer

ongoing

An ongoing content engine: 4-8 pieces a month, distribution and repurposing, monthly performance read, calendar adjusted as data comes in. Friday WhatsApp report. Pause anytime.

[ 06 / FAQ ]

The real questions before paying for content.

Compounding work, not instant. The first pieces can rank on low-competition queries within 6-8 weeks. A content engine usually shows real organic traffic and AI citations from month 3 onward, and keeps building after that. It is the opposite of paid: slow to start, hard to stop.
AI for speed on the draft and the research, never for the final piece. Every piece gets a founder interview for the parts only you know, then hand-editing until it sounds like a person and reads clean. AI-only content gets discounted by both Google and LLMs, and readers can tell.
Same goal, different layer. SEO is the technical and ranking machinery: site health, schema, internal links, keyword mapping. Content marketing fills that machinery with pieces worth ranking. They work best run together, which is why I do both.
Fewer than an agency quota, each with a job. Usually 4-8 pieces a month on a retainer, mapped to pillar and cluster structure. Volume for its own sake creates filler, and filler drags down the pieces that matter.
Like you. The process starts with a founder interview, and the writing is hand-edited to match how you actually talk about your work. Generic house-style content is exactly what buyers skim past.
An hour for the initial interview, then about 30 minutes a piece for the parts only you know: real numbers, client stories, opinions. The research, structure, drafting, and editing are mine. Your time goes only where it cannot be substituted.

Tell me what you want your content to do.

Send me a short brief: who your buyer is, what they search before they buy, and what your content does today. I will reply within 24 hours with where the gaps are and what a content engine would look like for you. No sales call needed.
